    I was born in 09.06.1973 in Keszthely in Hungary. My father is foresty engineer, my mother is laboratory assistant. My sister graduated it the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, now She is working as TAX expert in Austria having also a nice familiy, too.

    After the primary school I continued my studies at Zrínyi Miklós Grammar School, Zalaegerszeg. I was specialised in mathematics and german language. In my third year I passed the intermediate level german exam and I won the competition in mathematics of Zala county. After leaving the grammar school I was admitted to the Technical University of Budapest to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Starting ever in the first semester I studied higher level mathematics and in my third semester I chose the mathematical engineer major. I became interested in the field of artifical neural networks. I this area I was led by the Computer and Automation Research Institute of Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In my eigths semester I changed my major to manufacturing, too. Starting then I began to study the applications of artifical neural networks in the field of manufacturing. I was awarded the Prize of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for my summer job achievments in 1995. In the Scientific Forum of PhD Students of Computer and Automation Research Institute Hungarian Academy of Sciences I won the 1. Prize. I have some publications about in these area.

    In summer 1995, I passed the summer course named "Qualitätssicherung und Qualitätsmanagement für Klein- und Mittelbertiebe" in Krems, in Austria. I worked on my diploma thesis in Vienna and in Budapest in a joint program between the Department of Interchangeable Manufacturing and Industrial Metrology of the Institute of Production Engineering of the Technical University of Vienna, and Department of Manufacturing of the Technical University of Budapest and with the help of the Computer and Automation Research Institute Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Since 1995, I have been working as a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Manufacturing and in the Computer and Automation Research Institute of Hungarian Academy of Sciences. My topic is "Intelligent methods in Qualitymanagement". In 1998, I won the first price of the competition of Ph.D. students(second year) of the Computer and Automation Research Institute, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In year 1999 I finished my Master of Business Administration studies on the Department of Industrial Management and Business Economics. I chose the business, the technical, and the quality major. At 3. July 2001 I defended my Ph.D. theses with a success rate of 100% (see ...). Now I am senior research associate at the Computer and Automation Research Institute Hungarian Academy of Sciences. I am also member of the John v. Neumann Society (NJSZT) for Computing Sciences.

    I am divorced, and a father of a son, Balázs and a daughter, Borbála.

    In my spare time I play(ed) basketball. Till 2002 I played in the Hungarian second division team of UPC-Proinfo (earlier its name was HBO and UPC and Net54). Until 2013 I was playing in the universitas league team Kandó95. In the last period I played in the team of NKE-KTK DSE, currently I am player of the Dragons.
